NCC thanks everyone who participated in the Job Analysis Surveys this year. Your input will shape exam specifications keeping specialty certification content up to date with current roles and responsibilities.

Below are the winners* of the Job Analysis Surveys completed this year. Several of our winners had additional thoughts on the value of certification that they wanted to share!

Neonatal Pediatric Transport (C-NPT®)
Kaitlyn York, RNC-NIC
Tennessee
My NCC certification provided a challenge to “test my knowledge” and continues to be an avenue to push me to never stop learning, stay relevant with the latest evidence-based practices as well as staying involved in projects that I am passionate about in my NICU!

Obstetric and Neonatal Quality and Safety (C-ONQS)
Amanda Staab, RNC-OB, C-EFM
Iowa
I have both the RNC-OB and C-EFM certifications. I just applied for the C-ONQS certification and hope to also hold that soon! I would just say that I believe my certifications give me self-confidence and demonstrate a strong commitment to my profession. They provide validation and credibility that I am truly an expert in my field.

Inpatient Antepartum Nursing (RNC-IAP)
Autumn Wendler, CNM, C-EFM
North Carolina
I am certified as a nurse midwife, electronic fetal monitoring, and hold a Perinatal Mental Health Certification. In regards to being NCC certified, I will say that I hold great pride in being certified in electronic fetal monitoring. I think obtaining this certification shows a commitment to evidence-based care and improvement of outcomes for moms and babies. I would encourage all perinatal care providers to consider becoming certified.

Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM®)
Kathrynne Raglin, RNC-OB, C-EFM
California
